Greg Sarnow Joins Unusual Panel Session
at Housewares Show

(Austin, Texas)  Direct response television pioneer Greg Sarnow is set to participate in the “Inventors Revue,” a unique session at the 2008 International Home & Housewares Show at McCormick Place in Chicago.

On Sunday, March 16 at 11 a.m., Sarnow will join the panel of direct response television advertising experts for the fast-paced, American Idol-style seminar.  The session gives inventors the opportunity to present their new products, and receive insight and constructive feedback from the panel.

“Imagine!  You’ve nursed your product along and now you’re looking for your breakthrough in television marketing.  And here is this incredible opportunity to show off  your invention in front of the best minds in the direct response industry,” says Sarnow.  “I love the creative energy you get from being around inventors.  I’m honored to be a panel member.  And you never know, we could be seeing the next great  housewares product - like the George Foreman Grill.”

Sarnow has purchased close to $1 billion in television advertising media.  He has managed long and short form media for companies including Rubbermaid, Toshiba, Soda Club, eLights.com, and Sears.  Greg currently heads the Direct Response Academy, a direct response campaign management firm and the industry’s sole provider of training on all aspects of marketing products through television.

Asked which role he’ll play on the panel, Sarnow laughs, “My office is betting I’ll come off like Simon Cowell.  But personally, I think I have Randy’s style.”

The Inventors Revue, sponsored by INPEX and Response Magazine, will be held in the South Building of McCormick Place in Room S4477.  The full session runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday, and from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Monday.  More information can be found on the Housewares Show website at:  http://www.housewares.org/show/info/future.aspx .

To meet Sarnow at the Show, call (512) 301-5900.  For information on the Academy’s training programs and project management services, visit www.DirectResponseAcademy.com.
