Greg Sarnow - DRTV Industry PioneerGreg Sarnow is the founder and CEO of the Direct Response Academy, born in 1999 to assist corporate marketers and entrepreneurs in maximizing profits by leveraging their DRTV success into other marketing venues, and to help clients understand the difference between a sales pitch and the strategic planning necessary for their marketing campaigns.

Greg was the President of American Television Time for 8 years and has been responsible for the purchase of over $500 Million of direct response television advertising media for hundreds of clients. Hired as President in 1992, he grew the company from $2 million/year to a $48 million/year company in only 4 years.  Greg's marketing expertise includes television, radio, syndication, DR, and barter.

Greg has trained numerous media buyers and understands how media buyers think, what their needs are and what it takes to motivate them. He has also worked extensively with Fortune 500 companies like Avon, Rubbermaid, Chase Bank, Toshiba, and  Sears.

Considered an expert in the Direct Response field, Greg has spoken to marketers and media buyers on direct marketing at numerous trade shows and has written articles for every major DRTV trade publication in the last eight years.

Publisher of the “Infomercial Producer Report”, Greg Sarnow was the first in the Direct Response Television Industry to publish a book that aided marketers in their endeavors to choose and manage DRTV service providers.
